Karen Wendt RN, MS, CNM

Karen Wendt is a 1995 graduate of Frontier Nursing Service’s Community-based Nurse-Midwifery Education Program.  Her practical experience came from an internship with the Baylor Nurse Midwives in Houston, TX.  She has worked in a CNM/MD practice in American Fork, Utah, and then in Lander, Wyoming.  She is now nearing 900 births in her career.

Karen is owner and sole Midwife in White Crane Midwifery, a homebirth practice based in Lander, Wyoming.  She can be reached at 307-330 4163, or online at wymidwife@gmail.com.  Her practice is limited by distance to mostly Fremont County, Wyoming, although she will travel up to 2½ hours to provide women with homebirth.  Prenatal visits are done in the woman’s home.
